Attachment Therapy | Child Parent Relationship
Stephanie Legendre, LPC-S, Registered Play Therapist
An attachment relationship is an emotional relationship, where a child can have positive healthy relationships with their caregivers as well as other children and adults.
Many times foster or adopted children, children that have gone through traumatic events, or any disruption in a child’s early developmental years (divorce, illness, etc.)may cause insecurities in children. Depending on your child’s individual needs, relationship enhancement can be created by using Child Parent Relationship Training or Theraplay.
