Building Strong Foundations: Fostering Self-Esteem in Children and Teens

Children’s self-esteem is built in increments and parents usually attempt to build their child’s self-esteem by external praise:  “Good…awesome…you’re the best” etc.  In therapy it’s important to teach parents how to help build their self-esteem by using internal praise and encouraging their effort.  This helps children gain a sense of self that does not depend on what others think of them but what they believe in themselves.

Welcome to my Self-Esteem Empowerment page, where I am  dedicated to nurturing the confidence and resilience of children and teens. Recognizing the pivotal role self-esteem plays in their development, our programs are designed to instill a strong sense of self-worth and empower young individuals to thrive.

Understanding Self-Esteem: Self-esteem is the foundation upon which children and teens build their identities. It influences their decision-making, relationships, and overall well-being. My mission is to provide effective strategies and support systems that foster positive self-perception and personal growth.
